About

Tom first learned to weld at Parsons School of Design. In art school, his vision for creating the impossible became his asset as he began working in the NYC art world.

After college, Tom printed for Andy Warhol.  Known for his precision in stretching canvas, he handled art for many pop artists during the 1980’s and worked in galleries around NYC.  A few years later, Tom's interest in technical building led him into the production industry, where he met Robert Isabell, renowned event designer.  Tom became Isabell's chief welder and designer, learning to build larger than life fabrications. Tom worked interchangeably as artist and technician, creating imaginative works from start to finish.

Today, Tom engineers and constructs customized fabrications for media and corporate events, concerts, parties, and fashion shows, combining his creativity, innovation, and expertise in design, welding, carpentry, staging, rigging, audio video, budget planning, and project management.
